Harry Redknapp: 'I'm not under pressure'

Harry Redknapp says that his Queens Park Rangers side will be "OK" this season following their 2-0 defeat against Manchester United.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has said that his side will be "OK" this season and dismissed rumours about his future following their 2-0 defeat against Manchester United.

The loss left the R's languishing in 19th in the division amid reports that Redknapp is about to be sacked.

After the game, Redknapp told the BBC: "Do I look like I feel under pressure? When I get home I'll take my wife for a nice meal somewhere, have a nice bottle of wine, then in the morning wake up and take my dogs for a walk. My life's good. I don't like losing, but we worked very, very, very hard today. I couldn't have asked for more.

"I don't always speak to my chairman after a game. If he wants to talk he knows my number. I spoke to him yesterday or the day before - not a problem.

"What more can I have got out of my players today? Have a little look - my players never stopped working. They've been excellent. And you know what? We'll stay up. I've got no doubts about that. I'm bullish, I still think we'll be OK. I'm fine."

Next up for QPR is a clash against Stoke City.
