Sports Mole

Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to make it three Premier League wins in a row when they host Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Spurs have beaten Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest in their last two league fixtures, with a total of 33 points from 17 matches leaving them in fifth position in the table.

Ange Postecoglou's side are only one point behind fourth-placed Manchester City, while they sit four ahead of Newcastle United in sixth.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up their latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Everton, who have been victorious in each of their last four league games during an excellent run.

Rodrigo Bentancur

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Bentancur picked up an ankle injury in the defeat to Aston Villa at the end of last month, and the midfielder is expected to be out until the start of February.

Micky van de Ven

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Van de Ven has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the beginning of November, and the summer arrival is unlikely to be available for selection until the latter stages of January.

James Maddison

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Maddison remains on the sidelines with an ankle problem, and the attacker is unlikely to be available for selection for another month or so.

Ivan Perisic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Perisic underwent surgery on an ACL injury in September, and the Croatian is now facing a major battle to be available for selection before the end of the campaign.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Sessegnon is yet to feature this season due to a troublesome hamstring issue, and there is currently no indication when he could be available for selection.

Manor Solomon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Solomon has been sidelined since October due to a knee injury which he picked up in training, and the attacker faces a battle to return before the end of next month.

Alfie Whiteman

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Whiteman is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a severe ankle injury, with the goalkeeper in a battle to return before the end of the campaign.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Yves Bissouma

Status: Out
Possible return date: January 14 (vs. Manchester United)

Bissouma will serve a four-game suspension due to the red card that he was handed against Forest, meaning that he will not be back until January 14 at the earliest, but the midfielder is likely to be absent for longer than that, as he is set to represent Mali at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Destiny Udogie

Status: Out
Possible return date: December 28 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

Spurs will be missing Udogie for their clash with Everton, as the defender was handed a milestone yellow card in the two-goal success over Forest last time out.
