Kyle Walker starts against his former club as Manchester City welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Etihad.

Kyle Walker starts against his former club as Manchester City welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Etihad this evening.

The right-back's inclusion is one of three changes from manager Pep Guardiola following their 4-0 win at Swansea City on Wednesday - a record-breaking 15th consecutive victory in the Premier League.

Danilo is the man to drop down to the bench to make way for Walker, who left Spurs for City in a £45m deal over the summer, with Fabian Delph continuing on the left of the back four and Eliaquim Mangala partnering Nicolas Otamendi at centre-half.

Having been rested in midweek, Leroy Sane is back in the fold alongside Leroy Sane and Sergio Aguero up front, with Bernardo Silva making way.

The other change sees David Silva - two-goal hero against the Swans - dropping out of the matchday squad altogether as Ilkay Gundogan joins Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho in the middle of the park.

As for the visitors, who trail City by 18 points in the league, Mauricio Pochettino makes three changes to his starting XI after a 2-0 triumph over Brighton & Hove Albion three days ago.

Harry Kane continues to lead the line in an expected 4-2-3-1 formation, with Dele Alli - rested against the Seagulls - coming in for Erik Lamela alongside Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen.

Mousa Dembele has also returned from a break to replace Moussa Sissoko as holding partner for Harry Winks in front of the defence, which sees Kieran Trippier replace Serge Aurier at right-back.

Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen are partnered at centre-back, with Danny Rose on the left and Hugo Lloris in goal.

Manchester City: Ederson; Walker, Otamendi, Mangala, Delph; Fernandinho, Gundogan, De Bruyne; Sterling, Sane, Aguero
Subs: Bravo, Danilo, Yaya Toure, Bernardo, Jesus, Foden, Zinchenko

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Trippier, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose; Dembele, Winks; Eriksen, Dele, Son; Kane
Subs: Vorm, Aurier, Davies, Foyth, Sissoko, Lamela, Llorente
