How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Wolverhampton Wanderers

:Headline: How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Wolverhampton Wanderers:
Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has lost his two first-choice full-backs ahead of Saturday's Premier League encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers in North London.

Neither Pedro Porro nor Destiny Udogie were involved in Thursday's open training session, and Postecoglou confirmed their absences from the weekend's game on Friday; Porro is suffering from a strain while Udogie has jarred his knee.

In addition, backup goalkeeper Fraser Forster is revealed to have sustained a foot fracture during practice, and the ex-Southampton man has been ruled out for a couple of months.

Manor Solomon (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) have not yet returned to team training either, and a check will also need to be made on Giovani Lo Celso (thigh), who sat out last weekend's 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion despite being put through his paces at Hotspur Way.

That dramatic beating of the Seagulls saw Son Heung-min and Yves Bissouma make their first appearances for the Lilywhites since jetting off to the Asian Cup and Africa Cup of Nations respectively, although both were only given minutes as second-half substitutes.

However, the pair will no doubt come into contention for starting roles on Saturday, especially with Son coming off the bench to excellent effect, squaring for Brennan Johnson's injury-time winner on February 10.

The Lilywhites captain will be expected to end Timo Werner's run of starts and reprise his attacking role with Richarlison, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski, who ought to fend off last weekend's hero Johnson.

Rodrigo Bentancur's spot in midfield is also under threat from the returning Bissouma, while Pape Sarr - scorer of Spurs' equaliser against Brighton - is an engine room shoo-in.

Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero will reprise their usual roles in front of Guglielmo Vicario as Spurs bid to end an eight-game run without a Premier League home clean sheet, while Emerson Royal and Ben Davies are primed to step in for the stricken Porro and Udogie.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Vicario; Emerson, Romero, Van de Ven, Davies; Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Richarlison body check tags ::
