Swansea City fought back to earn a 1-1 draw in their Premier League match against West Ham United this afternoon.

Andy Carroll opened the scoring for the Hammers at the end of the first half with a strike that found the top corner.

After the break, Mark Noble's own goal levelled the scores, and neither side were able to find a winner as the points were shared.

Here, Sports Mole has rated the performances of all of the players on show at the Liberty Stadium.

SWANSEA:

Goal

Lukasz Fabianski: Made some great saves in the second half to deny Jenkinson and Downing, but almost cost his team a point in the final minutes when he spilled Amalfitano's free kick and the rebound was placed wide. (7/10)

Defence

Neil Taylor: Had a decent game at the back and always looked to support his team's attacks. (6/10)

Ashley Williams: Was given a tough afternoon on his 300th Swansea appearance. He struggled to contain Carroll and gave away a couple of free kicks in dangerous areas. (6/10)

Federico Fernandez: Another Swansea defender who could not handle Carroll and was also beaten easily in the air on a few occasions. (6/10)

Angel Rangel: Did not see much of the ball, but almost set up a goal for Routledge at the end of the first half with a fine pass. (6/10)

Midfield

Leon Britton: Sat in front of the defence and helped his team to control possession for large periods of the match. (6/10)

Tom Carroll: Had a decent game in the centre of the pitch and looked confident when on the ball. (6/10)

Nathan Dyer: The winger got into some promising positions in the first half, but his final ball let him down. He faded after the break and went off on the hour mark. (6/10)

Wayne Routledge: He was far from his best and struggled in the first half. His touch was poor on a number of occasions and it was no surprise to see him taken off after the break. (6/10)

Gylfi Sigurdsson: The midfielder was poor in the first half, but he improved after the break and came close to scoring with a long-range strike that went inches wide. He eventually set up their goal with a great delivery from a corner, before being replaced moments later. (7/10)

Attack

Bafetimbi Gomis: The Frenchman may not have had the best of games, but he was the reason that Swansea claimed a draw. His powerful header was not cleared by Noble and ended up levelling the scores. He wasted a couple of chances to score, but worked hard all afternoon. (7/10)

Substitutes

Modou Barrow: Looked lively after coming on, but did not have too much of an impact. (6/10)

Marvin Emnes: Played well and offered plenty of threat after replacing Dyer. He came close on a couple of occasions when he headed an effort wide, before seeing a shot cleared off the line. (7/10)

Nelson Oliveira: Barely had a touch after arriving on the pitch. (6/10)

WEST HAM:

Goal

Adrian: Was rarely tested as Swansea managed just three shots on his goal. He can hardly be blamed for the equaliser, as there was no chance of him saving Gomis's deflected header. (6/10)

Defence

Carl Jenkinson: Impressive outing for the man on loan from Arsenal. He always looked to get involved in the attack and supplied some dangerous crosses. He also came close with a stinging drive late on, that was beaten behind by the keeper. (7/10)

James Collins: Played well as his team came under heavy pressure in the second half. Perhaps should have found the net with a header in the second half which went inches wide. (7/10)

Winston Reid: Another of the Hammers backline who had a decent match. Made some strong challenges and looked impressive in the air. (7/10)

James Tomkins: Made a vital block in the first half to deny Routledge from scoring at point-blank range. He battled hard for his team and helped to ensure that they took a point. (7/10)

Aaron Cresswell: The full back has enjoyed a great season and underlined his qualities again today. He was rarely beaten down his side of the pitch and delivered some fine crosses. (7/10)

Midfield

Kevin Nolan: Although he was booed off the pitch by the West Ham fans, the midfielder worked hard for his team and put in a good shift. (6/10)

Stewart Downing: Set up the goal for Carroll with a fine ball in from the left. He had a powerful effort saved by the keeper late on and always looked dangerous when in possession. (7/10)

Mark Noble: Turned the ball into his own net to gift Swansea a point. It overshadowed a good display from the midfielder, who used the ball well and helped out his defence. (6/10)

Attack

Andy Carroll: The Swansea defence were unable to deal with the physical threat of the striker. He was always a handful and scored his side's goal with a wonderful strike into the top corner. (8/10)

Enner Valencia: Although he failed to find the net once again, his all-round play was impressive. He worked hard for his team and kept running until he was substituted late on. (7/10)

Substitutes

Morgan Amalfitano: Whipped in some dangerous and was a major threat from set pieces. His free kick in the last three minutes almost led to the winning goal for the Hammers, but when it was spilled, none of his teammates were able to follow it up. (7/10)

Diego Poyet: Came on for the final eight minutes and was unable to make a difference. Booked for a poor challenge in stoppage time. (6/10)
