The Arizona Cardinals have activated linebacker Matt Shaughnessy to their 53-man roster ahead of their clash against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 28-year-old sustained a torn meniscus in his right knee during his side's defeat to the Denver Broncos in week five of the season, and as a result was placed on the club's injured reserve designated to return list.
However, Shaughnessy has now returned to fitness and has been called back to the full roster for Arizona's final four games of the season.
The Cardinals also signed Kerwynn Williams to the 53-man roster, but released Michael Bush and Matthew Mulligan.
