The Atlanta Falcons have improved to 6-1 on the season after they held off the Tennessee Titans late on to win 10-7 at the Nissan Stadium.
The Titans took the lead after David Bass tipped and caught a Matt Ryan pass and quarterback Zach Mettenberger found Kendall Wright on the very next play for the 19-yard touchdown.
The Falcons looked to reply quickly but after they failed to convert from nine yards out, they had to settle for a Matt Bryant field goal.
Tennessee had a chance late on in the first half to strengthen their lead but Mettenberger was picked off by O'Brien Schofield just before time expired.
In the second half, Atlanta went ahead midway through the third quarter as Ryan played the ball to Julio Jones in the endzone for the eight-yard reception that put the away side 10-7 up.
Ryan then threw another pick on fourth down from a yard out after the ball was tipped in the air, Jacob Tammy had a chance to catch the ball but Avery Williamson stole the ball from the tight end's grasp to prevent the touchdown.
The Falcons missed a field goal late on but it did not affect the result as Mettenberger threw another interception to Robenson Therezie to give the NFC South side yet another win.
