The younger brother of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has opted to declare for the NFL Draft after just one season at the University of New Haven.
Tight end Mike Flacco caught 30 passes for 591 yards and nine touchdowns last season, being named as a third-team Division II All-American in the process.
CSB Sports reporter Jason La Canfora revealed the news via his Twitter account, saying: "Joe Flacco's brother, Michael, has declared for the NFL draft. former baseball prospect is raw but athletic and very intriguing.
"Flacco Jr spent this past season as a TE at New Hampshire. Must improve blocking and strength, but will draw interest. He will be represented by Joe Linta, who procured a $100-plus M deal for Joe Flacco."
Flacco, 26, has turned to the NFL having pursed a professional baseball career with the Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox for four years.
