The Baltimore Ravens have confirmed that Tyrod Taylor was tested for a concussion after losing his helmet during the Baltimore Ravens' 34-27 pre-season defeat last night.
The backup quarterback was scrambling for a first down when a hit from Carolina Panthers safety Mike Mitchell knocked Taylor's helmet off.
Head coach John Harbaugh told the team's website: "He went through the concussion protocol, so we'll just have to play that one by ear. Have not heard anything on that. Other than that, we came out healthy, very pleased about that."
Taylor completed three of his four passing attempts during the game for 26 yards, while also rushing for 24 yards.
