The San Diego Chargers score three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to come from behind for a 34-33 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

The San Diego Chargers needed a late touchdown to complete their comeback for a 34-33 win over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in the NFL this evening.

The home side took the lead early on when Joe Flacco found Torrey Smith on the edge of the endzone, and the wide receiver juggled the pass before holding on for the touchdown.

Philip Rivers tried to get the ball into Baltimore territory and get the Chargers on the board, but Daryl Smith picked off the San Diego quarterback to keep the visitors scoreless.

The AFC West side did find the endzone before the end of the half, with Keenan Allen hauling in a pass from Rivers, but a couple of Justin Tucker field goals kept the Ravens in front.

After a quiet start to the third quarter, the Ravens extended their advantage when Flacco connected with Smith for the second time in the game.

The Chargers responded quickly though, as Ryan Mathews ran the ball in to leave the sides just three points apart with over 13 minutes remaining on the game clock.

Flacco appeared to have put the win beyond doubt when he rushed for a touchdown with seven minutes remaining, leaving the Chargers needing to find two late touchdowns.

Rivers gave the visitors some hope though when he found Allen in the endzone for the second time, leaving the AFC West side just six points behind.

Baltimore could not run the clock down during their possession, giving San Diego another chance late on, and the visitors managed to edge ahead inside the final minute when Eddie Royal squeezed his way in.

Flacco tried a deep pass at the death to try to get the Ravens into field goal range, but Kamar Aiken could not get out of bounds to stop the clock.

The win leaves the Chargers second in the AFC West with an 8-4 record, while Baltimore are second in the AFC North on 7-5.
