Carolina Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman has said that it is time for the team to start winning.
The NFC South side have won 13 and lost 19 games since drafting quarterback Cam Newton in 2011.
Gettleman told reporters: "Cam has had the best two years of any rookie quarterback in NFL history, and everybody talks about the other young [quarterbacks].
"What he's done has been completely lost in the sauce because of the elephant in the room, the 13-19 record. But now it's time to win."
The Panthers finished second in their division in 2012.
