The Jacksonville Jaguars scored a touchdown in the final 30 seconds of the half to take a slender 7-6 lead into the interval of their NFL clash with the Cleveland Browns this evening.
The Browns had an early chance to take the lead when Blake Bortles threw his eighth interception of the season, but the visitors could only come away with a field goal as Billy Cundiff converted from 40 yards.
Both sides struggled to make any ground on offence throughout the half as the respective defences held firm, with the third-down efficiency poor from both teams.
Cleveland finally did get on the scoreboard once again in the latter stages of the second quarter, with Cundiff doubling his side's lead with a 22-yard field goal.
However, it was the Jaguars who went into the break with the lead as Allen Robinson and Bortles combined for a late 31-yard score to make it a one-point game at the halfway stage.
