The Tennessee Titans have taken a narrow 10-7 lead into the halfway stage of their AFC South clash with the winless Jacksonville Jaguars at LP Field this evening.
The hosts made a perfect start to the match with a touchdown on the first possession, Blake Bortles linking up with Clay Harbor to race downfield before Storm Johnson crossed the line with a one-yard run.
The Titans were forced to wait until the closing stages of the first quarter to get on the scoreboard themselves, Ryan Succop converting a 25-yard field goal to reduce the deficit to four.
Both sides struggled to make any serious headway on offence during the second quarter until the closing stages, when Jackie Battle ran in for a one-yard touchdown to give Tennessee the lead for the first time.
They managed to hold on to that advantage until the break, putting them on course for a first victory since the opening match of the season.
