Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer has insisted that his side can't heap pressure on Josh Gordon to re-ignite their offense following his return from suspension.
The 23-year-old was banned for 10 games by the NFL for violating their policy on substance abuse, but has now been reinstated to feature for the Browns in their final six matches of the season.
However, Hoyer is adamant that his side can't expect Gordon to return to his All-Pro form of last season immediately.
"We all know what Josh is capable of, but let's not put all this pressure on him to be the saviour," Hoyer told the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
"We all have to be better on offense. We all have to be more consistent."
Gordon recorded 87 receptions for 1,476 yards and nine touchdowns for the Browns in 14 games last season.
