Dan Koppen has re-signed with the Denver Broncos for the 2013 NFL season.
The centre had been a free agent after his previous deal with the team expired, but has been brought back to the Mile High Stadium after JD Walton had to undergo further ankle surgery.
The 33-year-old played 12 games with the Broncos last season, replacing Walton when he sustained an ankle fracture last September.
The Broncos are optimistic that Walton will return in November.
