The Detroit Lions lead the Green Bay Packers by seven at half time in their Thanksgiving Day clash at Ford Field.

The Detroit Lions lead the Green Bay Packers 17-10 at half time in their Thanksgiving Day clash at Ford Field.

The Lions started positively and were on the charge, but Reggie Bush fumbled the ball following pressure from Clay Matthews, which allowed Morgan Burnett to scoop the ball for the Packers, calling an end to the Lions' opening drive.

The first points of the game came in the second quarter when David Akers entered the play for the Lions. He managed to convert a 27-yard field goal attempt to give his side a 3-0 lead.

Despite taking the lead, the Lions were levelled shortly after when the Packers responded with a field goal of their own from Mason Crosby, who converted a 54-yard effort.

The visitors then took the lead after Nick Perry knocked the ball out of Stafford's hands, which allowed Burnett to pick up the ball and take it short to the endzone. Crosby converted the extra point to give the visitors a 10-3 lead.

Jeremy Ross was able to level the scoreline against his former team by catching his first touchdown pass after he lost his linebacker to make the play, and Reggie Bush came to the hosts help by securing a running touchdown into the endzone, giving them the lead for the second time in the match.
