Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell has revealed his frustration with the decision to overturn a pass interference penalty against his side in their wildcard-round defeat to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Lions were awarded a pass interference call when Cowboys linebacker Anthony Hitchens fouled Brandon Pettigrew in the fourth quarter of the clash at AT&T Stadium.
However, after a brief delay referee Pete Morelli decided to alter the decision in favour of the home side, while Caldwell was left fuming with the reasoning of the official in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
"Not good enough," Caldwell told reporters. "I'm going to leave it at that. Not good enough."
Morelli said after the game that he felt the penalty for the Lions was unwarranted.
