Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush has promised that he will not fumble again this season following his dropping of the football in Sunday's defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bush said that he has spent several days in practice making sure he has a better grip of the ball and believes that he can avoid dropping it again for the rest of the campaign.
"That just comes with me mentally, constantly reminding myself, all week throughout practice, of making sure I'm high and tight - whether I'm going through the hole or whether it's after practice and I'm doing a couple extra drills," he told ESPN.
"Just little things like that. Those are the things that will help me to make sure that doesn't happen again. And it won't happen again."
The Lions are top of the NFC North with a 6-4 record in 2013.
