The Houston Texans have confirmed that Kareem Jackson will miss the team's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend.
The cornerback missed last week's clash with the Oakland Raiders with a fractured rib, which has prevented him from practising this week.
The 25-year-old told reporters: "It's actually a fracture to my first rib. It's kind of behind my collarbone so it's in a tough spot.
"I'm definitely feeling a lot better as opposed to the last couple weeks so I'm definitely looking forward to next week, doing more."
Jackson has made 35 tackles so far this season.
