Fulham are reportedly prepared to pay up to £40m to sign Manchester City attacker James McAtee in the current transfer window.
Marco Silva is seemingly keen to bolster his squad, with Fulham looking to maintain their European push in the second half of the season.
According to Fichjaes, the Cottagers are lining up a potential bid to prise McAtee away from the Etihad Stadium.
The report claims that Fulham are open to paying as much as £40m to recruit the 22-year-old before the transfer window shuts on February 3.
Man City are believed to be open to offers, while McAtee is considering his options after struggling for regular playing time this season.
McAtee, who spent last season on loan at Sheffield United, has been restricted to just two substitute appearances this season, although he has featured in Man City's last two matches against Leicester City and West Ham United.
The England Under-21 international is also attracting interest from the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, while there have also been links with Scottish champions Celtic.
Palace considering Bellingham move
Elsewhere in the capital, Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham.
The 19-year-old has established himself as a key figure in the Sunderland side since completing a move from Birmingham City in the summer of 2023.
Bellingham has been a regular fixture in Regis Le Bris's side this season, starting all 23 league matches that he has been available for.
The midfielder has chipped into Sunderland's attacking efforts with four goals and three assists, helping the club in their bid to win promotion to the Premier League.
While he is looking to win promotion with Sunderland, talkSPORT are reporting that he could be offered a way into the top-flight by Crystal Palace.
The Eagles have been long-time admirers of the England Under-21 international and are seemingly weighing up whether to formalise their interest with an offer.
Sunderland will allegedly demand at least £20m to part ways with Bellingham, who is also being linked with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham.
Rodriguez leaves Rayo following disappointing spell
Over in Spain, James Rodriguez has reportedly left Rayo Vallecano just over four months after joining the club on a season-long contract.
The former Real Madrid attacker returned to the Spanish capital in August after helping guide Colombia to the Copa America final in the summer.
However, Rayo's marquee signing failed to establish himself under Inigo Perez, making just seven appearances before the winter break.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 33-year-old has now left Rayo after agreeing to terminate his contract.
The move allows Rayo to offload a player that was on the fringes of the squad, while it gives Rodriguez the chance to find playing opportunities elsewhere.
Rodriguez will be keen to gain regular game time elsewhere, as he looks to remain active ahead of the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada. body check tags ::
