Gary Kubiak has said that DeVier Posey has done a "great job" during his rehab for an Achilles tear.
The wide receiver was taken off the Houston Texans' physically unable to perform list earlier today, having passed a fitness test with the team.
The head coach told the team's official website: "He has not missed a day. He's been down there every morning throughout the off-season.
"He came to me about a month-and-a-half after his surgery, he said, 'Don't count me out, I'll make it to opening day'. He's holding up his end of the bargain. He's done a great job."
Posey sustained the injury during the Texans' playoff game against the New England Patriots in January.
