Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan has insisted that the franchise are becoming a more serious outfit under the guidance of coach Gus Bradley and general manager Dave Caldwell.
Former veteran cornerback Aaron Ross previously described his one-year stint with the Jaguars as a "nice paid vacation", but Khan believes that isn't the case now.
"You're not going to have one of our ex-players saying he's coming back from a paid vacation in Florida anymore. To me, when you come here (now), you absolutely feel the drive and the hunger, whether it's on the business side or on the football side. You need that to become successful," he said, the Florida Times-Union reports.
Khan conceded that perhaps some former players were too comfortable at the organisation but he is confident that they are now heading in the right direction.
