Michael Crabtree's late touchdown has handed the Oakland Raiders a slender 14-7 half-time lead over the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL this evening.
The Raiders started the first period brightly and they found a way through after a couple of minutes when Latavius Murray forced the issue from close range by completing a two-yard rush, which then allowed for Sebastian Janikowski to kick the extra.
The visitors were not to be left too frustrated, however, as they responded later in the quarter through Alex Smith, who made no mistake with his three-yard rush to level the scores at 7-7, following a little help from a Cairo Santos extra.
Neither side gave much away in a closely-fought second offering, but Crabtree proved the difference just before the break when he collected a 25-yard pass from Derek Carr with 13 seconds remaining.
