The San Diego Chargers have secured the final AFC playoff spot with an overtime win against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Knile Davis opened the scoring for the Chiefs when he completed an impressive seven-yard run for the touchdown, before Ladarius Green caught hold of a 22-yard pass from Philip Rivers to level the score at 7-7.
The visitors then took the lead again as Dexter Mccluster held a simple two-yard exchange from Chase Daniel.
However, the hosts responded in the second quarter with a touchdown of their own as Rivers threw for Antonio Gates to bring the score to 14-14. Knile Davis then put the Chiefs ahead from a two-yard run.
Ryan Succop kicked a 46-yard field goal to extend the lead to 10, but then Eddie Royal hit back for the Chargers with a touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
They were level when Nick Novak kicked a 22-yard field goal with around three minutes of the quarter remaining.
Neither side could grab the winning score in the fourth, so the match went to overtime, and the Chargers claimed the final AFC playoff spot when Novak hit another field goal.
