New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick believes that head coaches in the NFL should be allowed to challenge all calls made by officials.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick feels that coaches should be able to challenge any call made on the field within their quota of appeals.

Head coaches are allowed two challenges that can be used on certain plays, but following an array of controversial incidents this season, Belichick feels that should made available to all calls.

"When you have two challenges, I don't see anything wrong with the concept of 'you can challenge any two plays that you want,'" Belichick told reporters.

"I understand that judgment calls are judgment calls, but to say that an important play can't be reviewed, I don't think that's really in the spirit of trying to get everything right and making sure the most important plays are officiated properly."

The Patriots were involved in controversy three weeks ago when they were denied a pass interference call in their defeat to the Carolina Panthers.
