New England Patriots wide receiver Brandon LaFell has expressed his belief that he has had to work harder in his organised team activities this year compared to his time with the Carolina Panthers.
The 27-year-old joined the club from the Panthers on a three-year deal in the off-season, ending a four-year stay with Ron Rivera's side.
LaFell has admitted that is has taken some time to get used to the intensity of the work in New England.
"The way we work, the way we practice, is all new [to me]. It's not like we didn't work hard in Carolina, but we work a little harder here," LaFell told reporters.
"We're throwing in a whole lot of plays every day. At the same time you're a professional, man. You gotta be able to do it.
"It's pretty much getting us prepared for the season. The harder it is now, the easier it will be on Sunday. Winning makes it all worth it."
LaFell recorded 49 receptions for 627 yards along with five touchdowns in the 2013 season.
