New England Patriots defensive end Rob Ninkovich has hailed cornerback Aqib Talib as an "unbelievable player" following his return to his side's practice.

Talib has been out of action since his side's win over the New Orleans Saints with a hip injury but is scheduled to return on Monday against the Carolina Panthers.

"Aqib is an unbelievable player," Ninkovich told reporters. "I'm happy to have him out there on the field with us.

"I think the guys that stepped up when he was gone, they did a great job, but having him back is going to help us as far as having more depth and keep guys rolling."

The Patriots are 7-2 going into their week 11 clash.
