New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will not attend the second hearing of his dispute against the NFL for the deflategate scandal, according to a report.
The 38-year-old was present as the NFL Players Association and the NFL met in accordance with the pleas of judge Richard Berman to engage in another round of settlement talks.
However, the talks between the two parties proved to be fruitless as no agreement could be made, which resulted in Berman telling Brady that he would not be required to attend the hearing on Wednesday, reports USA Today.
Brady will now meet up with his teammates for a round of joint practices with the New Orleans Saints in West Virginia before their pre-season clash on Saturday.
Commissioner Roger Goodell was also present at the settlement talks in New York City.
