The Carolina Panthers scored a late touchdown to take a 7-6 lead into the halfway stage of their NFC South clash with the New Orleans Saints this evening.
Both sides struggled to make much ground on offense in a tight opening quarter that ended pointless.
The first score of the match finally came with 10:53 left in the second quarter as Graham, who was signed by the Saints following the release of Garrett Hartley earlier this week, successfully kicked a 40-yard field goal.
Graham edged his new side further ahead shortly afterwards, this time slotting his kick between the posts from 24 yards.
The Panthers ensured that they would go into the break with a narrow lead when, with just under two minutes of the half remaining, DeAngelo Williams found a gap in the defense and raced into the endzone for a 43-yard touchdown.
