The St Louis Rams have beaten the New Orleans Saints at the Edward Jones Dome in their NFL match.
The Rams took the lead in the first quarter when Cory Harkey collected a 31-yard pass from Kellen Clemens, before Lance Kendricks combined with the latter minutes later to put St Louis 14-0 up.
Greg Zuerlein increased the Rams' lead early in the second quarter when he notched a 31-yard field goal.
Garrett Hartley produced the only score for the Saints when he added three points with a 45-yard kick, but the Rams dominated close to the break, as Zac Stacy produced an impressive 40-yard run to leave the score at 24-3 going into the interval.
Stacy continued the impressive Rams display in the third quarter with a field goal, but the Saints fought back in the fourth and dominated with touchdowns from Drew Brees and Marques Colston.
However, they did not have enough to claw their way back and the Rams held on for the win.
