Drew Brees has thrown four first-half touchdown passes to put the New Orleans Saints 28-21 up in their NFL game against the New York Giants.
The Giants made an aggressive start to the game, keeping their offense on the field on fourth down, resulting in Eli Manning finding Odell Beckham Jr from two yards out.
It took the home side just a couple of minutes to get back on level terms though, as Benjamin Watson hauled in a big catch to set up Willie Snead for a 34-yard touchdown on the following play.
The Saints took the lead for the first time just before the end of the first quarter, with Brees making a short pass to Brandin Cooks, who ran after the catch to secure the team's second touchdown of the day.
A second Beckham touchdown briefly got the Giants back on level terms at the start of the second quarter, but the Saints quickly edged back in front as Brees launched a deep pass for Marques Colston, leaving the wide open receiver to casually stroll in into the endzone.
Brees continued to find his receivers with ease, delivering a second touchdown pass to Snead before half time, while completing more than 300 passing yards before the end of the second quarter.
The Giants cut the gap just the break though, as Shane Vereen ran a slant route to collect the ball from Manning in the corner of the endzone, leaving the visiting side seven points back at the break.
