New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin has admitted that he was left frustrated following another lukewarm performance as his team overcame the Indianapolis Colts 27-26 on Saturday.
Such was the poor position they found themselves in, the Giants didn't notch their first point until the fourth quarter, where they rallied back to claim a slender victory.
"We are realists, and looking at what looked to be a very poor performance in the first half with the 1s that didn't really get a lot better once the 2s came in," said Coughlin said, according to ESPN.com.
"It wasn't impressive at all. We didn't get a whole lot done. There's no production. There's nothing to look at from a production standpoint."
The new NFL season is due to get underway in September.
