New York Giants defensive captain Justin Tuck has admitted that he does not want to be humiliated when his side face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Tuck's men are out of the playoff picture after a poor campaign in the NFC East, while Seattle are riding high in their division and are a popular tip to make the Super Bowl in February.
Asked by reporters if the Seahawks might be viewing a visit to the Giants' MetLife Stadium - the venue for the Super Bowl - as a dry run for the season's climax, Tuck said: "I wouldn't blame them if that is the case.
"But the last thing we want to be is embarrassed. And this is a team that, if you're not ready to play, they'll embarrass you. And then laugh at you about it. They can trash talk alright."
The Seahawks won the last meeting between the two sides back in October 2011.
