The New York Giants have ended their seven-match losing streak courtesy of a comfortable 36-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans this evening.
The visitors' dominance began early on as they took the lead on their opening drive, Josh Brown capping off a seven-minute move with a 20-yard kick.
Their first trip into the endzone arrived on their next possession as Odell Beckham Jr hauled in a 15-yard pass from Eli Manning to extend the lead to 10 points.
That became 17 before a miserable opening quarter was over for the Titans, with Zach Mettenberger fumbling the ball when he was sacked, allowing Markus Kuhn to scoop it up and return it 26 yards for a touchdown.
The scoring rate slowed in the second quarter, but the Giants were still able to extend their advantage to 23 before half time courtesy of two more Brown field goals.
Things got even better for them at the start of the second half as Andre Williams just about kept hold of the ball and burst through the defence for a 50-yard rushing score.
Tennessee finally got on the board in the third quarter, however, when Marqueston Huff picked off a Manning pass and returned it 23 yards for a touchdown.
Brown kicked his fourth field goal of the match towards the end of the third quarter, and a fifth followed in the final period to make it 36-7.
That was how it stayed to give the Giants their first victory since the start of October, while the Titans have now lost seven matches on the trot.
