New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes has revealed that he is targeting a return to action following the bye week in three weeks' time.
Holmes has not practised since his injury in week four, and said that even though November 17 is the target he was not looking too far ahead.
"At this point, I think the bye week is coming at a great time, giving me what, five, maybe six weeks to get healthy," ESPN quotes Holmes as saying. "Should be ready to roll.
"The bye week will allow me to get healthy for my return, but I'm not looking that far ahead right now.
The Jets, who are 4-3 for the season, face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
