The Denver Broncos have confirmed the signing of quarterback Peyton Manning, considered one of the most valuable free agents in the history of the NFL.
Manning, 35, has reportedly agreed a five-year deal worth $96m (£60.5m) after choosing the Broncos over the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans.
Manning, a four-time NFL MVP, won the Super Bowl with former club Indianapolis Colts in 2007 and holds numerous NFL records.
He was released by the Colts after not appearing at all last season because they would have had to pay him a $28m (17.6m) contract bonus.
