Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor is yet to be cleared to return to full practice after sustaining a concussion earlier this week.

Dennis Allen has said that Terrelle Pryor is yet to be cleared to take part in full contact practice.

The Oakland Raiders quarterback was forced out of the team's 37-21 defeat against the Denver Broncos on Monday with a concussion.

The head coach told reporters: "Well there's still some hurdles that he has to clear, but he was cleared to go ahead and non-contact practise. He was able to get in there and practise some on a limited basis today.

"My hope is that we're going to learn sooner rather than later, but it's really a process of when he passes all the tests and the doctors clear him for full participation, that's when we'll know whether or not he can play in the game or not.

"We had a good practice today, and we're excited about getting out and playing the Redskins and glad to see we have a sellout at home and excited about playing in front of our home crowd."

Pryor has completed 624 passing yards, 198 rushing yards and two touchdown passes so far this season.
