The Philadelphia Eagles finish the regular season with a 10-6 record after beating the New York Giants 34-26 in the NFL.

The Philadelphia Eagles gave a strong second-half performance to secure a 34-26 win over the New York Giants, finishing the season with a 10-6 record.

Andre Williams found the endzone on the opening drive of the game to give the Giants the lead, but the Eagles were back on level terms a couple of plays later as LeSean McCoy picked up a big gain before Jordan Matthews hauled in a 44-yard catch from Mark Sanchez.

Philadelphia took the lead for the first time when Sanchez found Brent Celek from just a yard out on the edge of the endzone.

Eli Manning tried to respond with a long pass for Larry Donnell, but the tight end could not keep hold of the ball, leaving Josh Brown to kick a field goal.

A Sanchez interception quickly brought the Giants offense back onto the field, setting Brown up for another kick, but Cody Parkey got a shot at the uprights before the break, ensuring that the visitors led at half time.

The Eagles increased their lead at the start of the third quarter when a New York punt was blocked, and Trey Burton recovered it before running it back for a touchdown.

Chris Polk put the win beyond doubt for the Eagles, breaking free to run the ball in for the visitors' fourth touchdown of the game.

Odell Beckham rounded off his rookie season with a consolation touchdown for the Giants late on, hauling in a catch from Manning before running 63 yards for the endzone, giving him his 12th touchdown in 12 games.

Despite the win, the Eagles will not contest the playoffs, while the Giants finish the year with 10 defeats.
