The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced that Ben Roethlisberger will have a scan on his foot after limping out of the team's win over the Oakland Raiders.
The quarterback had to be helped to the sideline before being carted into the locker room at Heinz Field after injuring his left foot while being sacked in the fourth quarter of the 38-35 win.
Head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed in his post-game press conference that Roethlisberger was taken to a local hospital after exiting the game, and will undergo an MRI scan to determine the extent of the injury.
Roethlisberger, who has won two Super Bowls during his time with the Steelers, has already missed four games this season with a knee injury.
