The San Diego Chargers move to 4-3 in the AFC West thanks to a comfortable 24-6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The San Diego Chargers moved to 4-3 in their season with a comfortable victory over the winless Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Chargers' offense dominated from the start against the Jaguars as Philip Rivers had no problems moving the ball against the defense. H moved his side into the red zone with ease before handing off to Danny Woodhead, who opened the scoring with a two-yard touchdown.

Rivers and his offense continued where they had left off on their next possession as they moved seamlessly into Jaguars territory again. This time he faked the handoff to Woodhead and fired down the right-hand sideline for Eddie Royal, who leapt into the endzone for a 27-yard touchdown.

The Jaguars tried to put a drive together to force their way back into the game but they could only muster as field goal as the Chargers' defense stood firm inside their own 20 and Josh Scobee knocked a 30-yard effort through the posts.

Mike McCoy's side had the chance to take the lead just seconds before the half when Rivers ran for the end zone on the one-yard line, but he was stopped and time ran out.

After the break, both sides exchanged field goals as Nick Novak and Scobee both kicked through the posts from 20 and 23 yards respectively.

The Chargers all but sealed the game early in the fourth quarter as Rivers moved his team inside the red zone and he handed the ball off yet again this time to Ryan Mathews, who coasted into the end zone for a three-yard touchdown.
