The Arizona Cardinals produce a standout third quarter to earn a 23-14 comeback victory over the San Francisco 49ers at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

A third-quarter blitz from John Brown and Drew Stanton has seen the Arizona Cardinals produce a 20-14 comeback win over the San Francisco 49ers, with Bruce Arians and his men originally behind at half time at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

The Cardinals were the first to make things count as Chandler Catanzaro measured up from 51 yards out to kick for three points.

The 49ers were quick to respond though, as Colin Kaepernick produced some neat work to find Crabtree from two yards for the touchdown, allowing Phil Dawson to kick for the extra point.

In a second quarter that started tamely, Arizona pulled within a point when Catanzaro held his nerve to produce an efficient kick to grab three points from 32 yards.

However, San Fran's Hyde was on hand to add some fireworks to the first half as the running back pulled away with a six-yard sprint, before Dawson added the formalities to move the score to 14-6 at the break.

The Cardinals were the first to draw blood in the second half, as Stanton picked out Brown from 24 yards to complete the touchdown and bring Arizona within touching distance of their opponents.

The pair then combined again to push Arizona into a second-half lead, this time as Stanton picked out his teammate with a pearler from 21 yards, with Catanzaro's kick making it 20-14.

A faultless Catanzaro sealed the victory with just under a minute to play in the fourth with a field goal from 35 yards out, which left the final score at 23-14.
