Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson believes that his side's intense work off the field has helped them overcome adversity this season.
The Seahawks lost for just the second time last week in their defeat to the San Francisco 49ers, but still hold the number one seed in the NFC playoff race despite missing key players such as Walter Thurmond III and Brandon Browner.
Wilson told reporters: "I think the thing that has allowed us to win is by the way that we prepare.
"The way that coach [Pete] Carroll gets us ready. The way that coach [Dan] Quinn gets the defense ready and coach [Darrell] Bevell gets us ready on the offense.
"The way we practice, the elite level we practice at, the high intensity that we practice at on a daily basis really prepares us for a huge game."
Pete Carroll's side face the New York Giants in their week 15 clash.
