Cuba's Dayron Robles booked his place in the final of the men's 110m hurdles at the Olympic Games by winning his semi-final this evening.
The defending champion, who has been struggling with injuries this season, hit a number of barriers before the midway point.
However, he managed to find his natural stride and eventually crossed the line in first place in a time of 13.10s.
Second place went to Jamaica's Hansle Parchment, who came through late to secure his slot in the final.
