Ireland's Michael McKillop has defended his T37 800m Paralympic title by taking gold in the 2012 final in world record time.
McKillop took the lead just before the end of the first lap and could not be caught as he flew around the final bend.
He broke the previous world record by more than a second to register his new time of 1:57.22.
Silver-medallist Mohamed Charmi of Tunisia was some way back with a time of 2:01.45, with Australia's Brad Scott taking bronze with 2:02.04.
