Russia's Yelena Isinbayeva has said that she will reconsider her decision to retire from pole vaulting in light of her bronze-medal success at London 2012.
The 30-year-old successfully cleared 4.70m - 5cm short of the height cleared by Jennifer Suhr and Yarisley Silva, who took gold and silver respectively.
"I am really happy. It is like a gold medal for me," said Isinbayeva. "I think this bronze tells me 'Yelena, don't quit', as I planned to quit after London.
"I don't know about [the 2013 World Championships in] Moscow, of course I will be there anyway.
"I'd like some rest but for now I don't know anything. I am just glad the Olympics are finished as it was so stressful."
Isinbayeva won Olympic gold in Athens and Beijing.
