Nissan have been revealed as Great Britian's official automobile partner on the road to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
The United Kingdom's most prolific motor manufacturer will help assist the training regimes of both squads by applying their performance credentials and expertise in innovative technology.
Nissan will also provide 4,500 vehicles to support both events, and Chairman of the British Olympic Association, Lord Sebastian Coe, expressed his delight at the partnership at a media briefing in London.
Coe said: "I am delighted that Nissan, a company that is recognised globally for excellence and performance, is partnering with Team GB on the 'Road to Sochi and Rio'.
"The BOA played an important role in enabling me to pursue my Olympic dreams and compete for Team GB, and now, thanks to partners like Nissan, today's athletes can be afforded the same support.
"Nissan has invested heavily in British industry and now it is backing Britain in the greatest sporting arena in the world."
Team GB finished third in the medals table at both the Olympics and Paralympics in London last year, winning a combined total of 185 medals.
