Team GB are on well on course to record their biggest Olympic gold medal haul in over 100 years.
With six days of competition remaining, Great Britain's current tally of 18 is just one short of their final total in Beijing - which was their highest since London first hosted the Games in 1908.
There is every chance that GB could reach the magic number 20 today, as Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton and Alistair Brownlee are all much fancied in their respective events.
Great Britain's all-time best haul included 56 golds in 1908.
