Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings has been ruled out for at least three weeks with a dental injury.
The 24-year-old is suffering with an impacted wisdom tooth and a fracture of the mandible at the base of the tooth.
"We've been playing the last three days without him anyways so we keep on moving," Pistons coach Maurice Cheeks told reporters. "Hopefully he's a quick healer and gets on the court as soon we he can."
Jennings could return to action on November 5 when his side host the Indiana Pacers in game four of the NBA season.
