The Golden State Warriors had to cancel a practice after their flight from Oakland to Houston was delayed by more than three hours.
The Western Conference's top seeds are due to play the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center later today, leading the conference finals 2-0.
According to ESPN, mechanical problems with the aircraft on their chartered flight for game three meant that the team did not get to their hotel in Houston until 10pm, despite having had a practice and media availability scheduled for the afternoon.
The winner of the series will face either the Cleveland Cavaliers or Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Finals.
