Paul George has said that it was important for the Indiana Pacers to secure a win over the Miami Heat.
The top two sides in the Eastern Conference met last night, with the Pacers coming from behind to secure a 90-84 victory.
The forward told reporters: "It was fun, a real intense game, both teams were playing at a high level. You could see an urgency to win this game tonight.
"I knew it was going to be a night when I was going to explode offensively, I knew I had to move the ball and share it."
The result has left Indiana three wins clear of the current NBA champions in their conference.
